军人和退伍军人

LMU法律 is proud to serve those who served this country. As a show of gratitude to our active members of the military and veterans, we are proud to participate in the 黄丝带计划 (YRP), one of the many educational benefit programs offered by the U.S. Department of 退伍军人 Affairs (VA). A provision of the law that created the Post-9/11 GI Bill® Program (Chapter 33), the YRP allows institutions of higher learning to make additional funds available to fund tuition and other eligible fees exceeding those covered by the Post-9/11 GI Bill. The YRP allows the VA to match school aid contributions made to eligible veterans. LMU法律 usually agrees to contribute the maximum amount to be matched by the VA for all eligible program participants. The combination of federal and LMU法律 grants will cover as much as the full cost of tuition, 书,and housing for each academic year of study. (Please note that the length of military service since September 11, 2001 will determine the amount of Chapter 33 benefits received.)

Students may be eligible for other VA benefits to fund their studies at LMU法律, such as Voc-Rehab, the Montgomery GI Selected Reserve Bill (Chapter 1606), Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP/Chapter 1607), 蒙哥马利退伍军人法案(第30章), the Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program (DEA/Chapter 35). For more information on these and other VA education benefits for which you may be eligible, 请浏览 Department of 退伍军人 Affairs website.
